Liposuction is the process of removing the fat from a person’s body. So technically, once the fat is gone, it’s gone. And after lipo, the treated area does have fewer fat cells left to accumulate fat.
While the fat is gone , it does not mean that it can not come back. If you gain back weight there is a chance the fat deposits will eventually return to the treated area. Talk to your doctor about ways to keep the fat from returning.
